Special Moments and Extras
Those special moments with a sweet young daughter participating in her father's wedding or with an aging grandfather create images that can never be replaced.
 
Make-up photos or "back stage" shots taken prior to the wedding ceremony are a mainstay in the repertoire of wedding photos. Below are three very different examples.
 
 
Attending the wedding rehearsal provides the opportunity to understand the flow and timing of the ceremony, while the dinner is a chance to develop a rapport with the participants.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Above: This is the little sculpture from the top of my parents wedding cake, which I found in a box of keepsakes.

To the Right: Although I shot this on the wedding rehearsal evening, I think it symbolizes a couple going off into the unknown world of married life. I also find it an interesting photograph.
